The imagination that flowed effortlessly in my childhood is something I now consciously seek out in my work, in order to keep my younger self alive.
As an ecological artist, I focus on creating sculptures, paintings, illustrations, and products with a natural theme, that exist somewhere between aesthetic art and practical design.
In the early stages of my process, experimentation is central, nothing is too far-fetched. At the same time, I maintain a thoughtful and patient approach, allowing me to create a balance between freedom and structure.
A recurring theme in my art is the contrast between reality and fiction. This steers my creations towards the surreal and speculative. This theme often appears in the flora and fauna of our planet, which is also my greatest passion.
My work helps me share my perspective and emotions. It is a form of self-expression and communication, a release through which I can show my sense of wonder about the world.
I hope my work invites others to become children again, to rediscover the extraordinary in the ordinary, and to make space for their own imagination. I aim to convey these values through my work, as these concepts are central to my life and keep me moving forward.
